What is External Data Capture?

The Printstream External Data Capture Integration Module is designed to import shopfloor data into PrintStream for job costing purposes. It provides two way functionality to pass necessary basic employee and processing data to an outside system and in return accept the details of individual job task operations for costing analysis.

Companies operating PrintStream in their production environment may use the Printstream External Data Capture Integration Module to import the details of work related tasks into PrintStream. This data then may be used for up-todate management information and later for detail analysis of profitability studies.
